FAQ'S

NEWBORN SESSION DETAILS:
Booking after your 20 week scan ensures a spot on my calendar. Although, I do take last minute requests when able. I book a limited number of newborn sessions a month to ensure a high quality of customer service.

ARE PARENT & SIBLING PORTRAITS INCLUDED?
Yes, if you choose the newborn + family session.

HOW OLD SHOULD MY NEWBORN BE?
I book newborn sessions within the first 21 days after birth, as long as everyone is healthy and able. I do acccept older newbors as well.

WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK?
Newborn sessions are taken Tuesday-Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in my Abilene, Texas studio or the comfort of your home.

HOW LONG DO NEWBORN SESSIONS LAST?
It varies from baby to baby.
Typically 2 to 4 hours.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR BABY?
No, I have everything for baby in my studio as well as a collection of beautiful dresses for moms, if you choose to wear them. I suggest everyone wearing neutrals such as white, cream, tans and beige to the session for family portraits.

DO YOU GUARANTEE POSES?
No, I do not guarantee poses as babies are unpredictable. What is easy for one baby may not be easy for the next. I do my best to make it through my workflow but if they are uncomfortable or upset, I move to the next.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes, I require a $100 retainer fee upon booking, the remaining balance is due the day of your newborn session.
